Welcome

At the time of this writing, there are only two living people who know this blog exists: my husband and me. Because I began this blog as a way for me to help myself, I’m okay with having no readers, but part of me secretly hopes that over time, in an organic and natural fashion, without me advertising that my blog is here.

With that said, welcome!! I’m a believer that the things that have happened in the past influence where you will go in the future; thus the name of my blog. The pages on my blog indicate where I’ve been. The future posts I will write are the where I’m going. I know that some people have a singular focus for a blog, but because I started this for me, I felt it just needed to be a blog about me and my life. Therefore, I will be covering topics related to diabetes, infertility, pregnancy loss, pregnancy after a loss, parenting children that are in Heaven and on Earth, being a wife and whatever other topics I encounter in my life that I feel impassioned to write about.

For whatever reason you are here, from whatever path that led you here, thank you for stopping.

  1. Hi Brianna! I found my way over from Glow in the Woods. Like you I've recently started blogging after an already long experience with infertility and loss, and like you too, I want my blog to be a kind of forward movement that charts my life as I try to find my feet again after a particularly difficult year. (My husband and I are still trying to conceive our rainbow after three losses, and I'm AMA with complicated medical history). I see it right now as a journal, and if I and others can find support through it, so much the better.

I am so sorry about all your little ones. Such sweet and beautiful names you've chosen for all of them. I'm glad to have found you and will be following from now on!

    1. Sadie, thank you so much for your kind words. I'm sorry to hear about your losses. May we both find what we're looking for in life and blogging. I'll be stopping by your blog to follow yours, too.
