Yes, you read that title correctly, I am sad that Lucy has her first tooth.
I know, I know, I should be excited that she's growing well and developing as any baby should, but I want her to be my baby for just a little bit longer. Once she has visible teeth, there will be no more gummy smiles. Once she has visible teeth, it will be a visual reminder that she is growing up, and I will never again have a baby.
I love her, I want her to grow and develop, but I'm reminded that for every first she has, it's the loss of that stage of a baby...forever.
On the flip side, there is seriously nothing cuter than a baby with their first tooth!
